  My son started two years ago. Back then, English was not even his primary language. We are grateful that the school, especially Ms. Kim, taught him so well in reading. Just as Ms. Mina, the president, says, reading takes him to everywhere. Now he reads 30+ books every week from library all by himself. I agree with one of the previous reviewers. Our kids didn't get to have much outdoor activities last summer other than some field trips. It was probably because the playground was still under construction back then. I see they start to have more opportunities to go out and play this year. We look forward to their upcoming summer schedule. Overall, I do recommend this school. We can easily tell that kids are in good hands in Northbrook Montessori School.

  Northbrook Montessori has been an extension of our family. Our second daughter attended this school for 3 years after we moved to the area and the progress and developments we saw in her getting ready for Kindergarten was more than impressive. It's impossible to describe the combination of love and discipline that the owners and staff of this place are able to balance and the reflection of that in our children. They follow the methodology and still work full day with amazing schedule for working parents. we are very grateful yo them.
